.

Fordson Tractor Pages will be there, we are having a presence on the Blue Force stand and Dotty and her sister will be on display.

We need a couple of things, we need people to man/woman/person the stand for an hour or so during the day and we need a few pictures of Fordson Tractors from around the world, owned by site users, to publicise the site.

Please e-mail the pictures to me so I can get them printed off and framed for the display board. I have the petrol Dextas pretty well covered but I would like tractors like Eric's Junkers powered "N" on show too please.

What a day out, for a first time event it was very impressive. Met up with some old friends and made some new ones and met a lovely little Dexta called Dotty! 8)

Would highly recommend to anyone who is debating going tomorrow. Lots of very rare and unusual tractors on display.

The only improvements I can think of are: An auction, more trade stands (tractor related not sunglasses and the like) however no doubt the numbers will increase next year. Lastly, a planned list of events for the main ring, perhaps there werent enough of the tractors running.

Great event and hopefully lots of money made for a great cause.

Did you come and meet Mike, Ann or I? We were in the Blue Force tent and an number of people were talking to us all day. It was very cold when the sun went in, a Norfolk lazy wind that goes straight through rather than round you. :D

We spent a little time in the sheds warming up at times.

Beautiful sunny morning today, Sunday. We are on our way back to the show shortly.

I have never seen so many different tractors!!! Some I have only seen pictures of. It is really a great show.

Mike will post when he thaws out, i have no doubt and I will get more pictures up later today if I can.

Brian.

Nice photos Brian. The swim is a little far, or I would be there myself. An old friend had a Wallis at one time and I use to help him get it out of the tractor shed, loaded on the trailer, and to the local show for quite a few years when I was a young. He has gone to the big tractor show in the sky now. The Fergusen looks like the early experimental one I've seen in photos with Harry and Henry in the photos. 8) Is the Massy Harris Twin model 55's ? Dandy Dave!Nice photos Brian. The swim is a little far, or I would be there myself. Dandy Dave!

Hi Dave,

Yes it was a couple of 55's joined like a Doe though they did not run it in the ring. The Fergusons were Ferguson/Brown, Harry Ferguson's design and hydraulics on tractors made by David Brown, these are 1930's tractors many years before the Ford/Ferguson tractors.

There were many more tractors, stands and people there today and what a change in the weather!!!! It was bright sunshine all day and fairly hot.

We met many site members and "lurkers" and I had a long meeting with another friend, known only over the internet from this site, Pat Pawsey of The Ford and Fordson Association. Think we have strengthen links with both Blue Force and the Ford and Fordson Association over the last few days.

I am just home from the site, enjoying a cup of tea and a sit down! 8) Have many pictures to upload to Photobucket and will get them on the site with some captions early next week.
