The Dexta range were introduced in 1958 with an upgrade in 1960,1962 and 1963. The petrol Dexta was introduced in 1960. In 1962 the Super Dexta was introduced and the three tractors carried on in production until 1964.

Petrol Dexta .. Introduced November 1960 .. Engine .. Standard Motor Company Industrial, 87mm bore .. Four cylinder .. 37hp .. Petrol. Ford designation .. 959E. Serial Number starts .. 959E until November 1961. After 1961 09A. Letter changes with year.
Super Dexta .. Introduced April 1962 .. Engine .. F3.152 .. Diesel .. Three cylinder ..41hp (44.5 hp New Performance 1963) Simms Minimec mechanically governed injection pump. Ford designation 960E. Serial Number starts 09B. Letter changes with year.
