| Fordson Tractor Pages will be there, we are having a presence on the Blue Force stand and Dotty and her sister will be on display. We need a couple of things, we need people to man/woman/person the stand for an hour or so during the day and we need a few pictures of Fordson Tractors from around the world, owned by site users, to publicise the site. Please e-mail the pictures to me so I can get them printed off and framed for the display board. I have the petrol Dextas pretty well covered but I would like tractors like Eric's Junkers powered "N" on show too please. 8/3/12. What has: 25 Doe Triple Ds? :yikes: An Ivel? :D At least 3 Austin Diesel tractors? 8) A Catapillar Crawler that worked on the Hoover Dam? A collection of Peterboro tractors made by Peter Brotherhood of Peterborough? At least 2 Saundersons? And, of course, at least two Petrol Dextas? :buddies:  Amongst hundreds of other makes and models. Yes, you are right! This show!!!!!!!! Just a taster: [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] What a day out, for a first time event it was very impressive. Met up with some old friends and made some new ones and met a lovely little Dexta called Dotty! 8) Would highly recommend to anyone who is debating going tomorrow. Lots of very rare and unusual tractors on display. The only improvements I can think of are: An auction, more trade stands (tractor related not sunglasses and the like) however no doubt the numbers will increase next year. Lastly, a planned list of events for the main ring, perhaps there werent enough of the tractors running. Great event and hopefully lots of money made for a great cause. Did you come and meet Mike, Ann or I? We were in the Blue Force tent and an number of people were talking to us all day. It was very cold when the sun went in, a Norfolk lazy wind that goes straight through rather than round you. :D We spent a little time in the sheds warming up at times. Beautiful sunny morning today, Sunday. We are on our way back to the show shortly. I have never seen so many different tractors!!! Some I have only seen pictures of. It is really a great show. Mike will post when he thaws out, i have no doubt and I will get more pictures up later today if I can. Brian. Nice photos Brian. The swim is a little far, or I would be there myself. An old friend had a Wallis at one time and I use to help him get it out of the tractor shed, loaded on the trailer, and to the local show for quite a few years when I was a young. He has gone to the big tractor show in the sky now. The Fergusen looks like the early experimental one I've seen in photos with Harry and Henry in the photos. 8) Is the Massy Harris Twin model 55's ? Dandy Dave!Nice photos Brian. The swim is a little far, or I would be there myself. Dandy Dave! Hi Dave, Yes it was a couple of 55's joined like a Doe though they did not run it in the ring. The Fergusons were Ferguson/Brown, Harry Ferguson's design and hydraulics on tractors made by David Brown, these are 1930's tractors many years before the Ford/Ferguson tractors. There were many more tractors, stands and people there today and what a change in the weather!!!! It was bright sunshine all day and fairly hot. We met many site members and "lurkers" and I had a long meeting with another friend, known only over the internet from this site, Pat Pawsey of The Ford and Fordson Association. Think we have strengthen links with both Blue Force and the Ford and Fordson Association over the last few days. I am just home from the site, enjoying a cup of tea and a sit down! 8) Have many pictures to upload to Photobucket and will get them on the site with some captions early next week. Brian Well, what an interesting show. For their first attempt, it was brilliant  I expect next year will be even better. It was a pity about the weather on the Saturday I think many more people would have visited if Siberia had kept their cold winds to themselves  I eventually managed to thaw out by the time I got home  Glad to see it was better on the Sunday. A very BIG thank you to Brian and Ann, who made me welcome in their home and kept me fed  What a sight, 25 Does around the place, with 12 'Dancing Does' in the show ring, and a lot of tractors you normally only see in pictures. Here's my contributions... [img][/img] Maybe not the best picture, but at least you get an idea of what it would be like when this line up is driving towards you. [img][/img] A couple of 'shots' of a very nice Matboro [img][/img] [img][/img] My Dad's first job, at age 14, was to machine out, acid etch, re-metal and hand scrape the bearings for these [img][/img] [img][/img] Here's the Twins [img][/img] [img][/img] Occaisonally, we got some sun, just when you want a decent picture :curse: Sorry  [img][/img] Once the 'donkey engine' had been running for 10 minutes, you just knew when this started up. Quite novel, to be able to see the firing order, just by looking at the exhaust pipes :D [img][/img] Mike Here we go then! :D There may be some overlap between these pictures and Mike's but please ignore that. [img][/img] [img][/img] Rare Matbro. [img][/img] [img][/img] Do we know these two? [img][/img] A bit of an oddity, we never sold many of these. 3000 axle on a 4000 engine rated at around 50 hp, basically a pre-Ford Force engine, on a 4000 gearbox and back end. Always seemed a bit of a "mongrel" to me. Ford did something similar with the 5600 and used pre-Force engines. As the 6600 could not really pull the "skin off a rice pudding" when fitted with the "Q" cab, thes were even less use to us in this area. [img][/img] Two lever hydraulics? On a Ford? What was the world coming to? After years of making a big sales point of single lever control to rubbish MF, we suddenly got these to sell. In all honesty, I liked the system and the ability to "intermix" Position and Draft control. [img][/img] This one is for Barry M. Made just outside Norwich by Loddon Engineering Limited. [img][/img] [img][/img] Hydraulics on a "N"? Made by Ardrolic of Scotland. [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] Nuffield 4/65. This one is a year older than Nuffy and totally different. Tractor was only built for two years and most of that must have been spent modifying things. :D [img][/img] Bit of a mystery here. I thought "Automower" conversion but i do not know and the owner was not around. Certainly Roadless tracks. Think they were built for the War Department. [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] Case 18/30 Cross Motor from Australia. Used all its life on a rock crusher. Sorry about the poor picture. [img][/img] Ford conversions! [img][/img] Avery Power Steering? :D [img][/img] And we think modern tractors are complicated. Hart Parr controls. [img][/img] Another Avery. [img][/img] A pair of Fordsons. [img][/img] [img][/img] Registration plate from a French built Austin tractor. [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] Austin tractor. [img][/img] Peterbro's from Australia. [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] Saunderson. [img][/img] 1902 Ivel. [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] Roadless Super. [img][/img] Super Dexta 3000 [img][/img] Dexta 2000 [img][/img] Our Fordson Flag flies proudly. [img][/img] Found this woman taking a break on Dotty! [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] Howard Trencher. [img][/img] [img][/img] This one is for Ollie! :run: [img][/img] Next time it will be the Does!!!!!!! And now!!!!!! Put your hands together for-----------------------THE DANCING DOES   [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] This must of been a spectacular show. Great pictures and great tractors. Over here we would be excited to see one Doe. Driving a Matbro or a Doe once would be an adventure. Henk. Look like you had a nice nice, i could not make it due to working. The Fordson belongs to a farmer that lives just outside Norwich. It was used for holding down barrage balloons around Norwich during the war. Kipper | Welcome to MyWiki
